Balasore: The Department of Computer Science at Fakir Mohan University here in collaboration with IEEE GRSS Kolkata Chapter has organised a two-day ‘National Conference on Advances in AI Systems” (A²IS-2024). FMU VC Santosh Kumar Tripathy said this conference is a ground-breaking event that promises to be a pivotal gathering for researchers, practitioners, industry leaders, policymakers, and enthusiasts alike, offering a dynamic platform to explore the latest advancements, exchange ideas, and shape the future of AI systems. He also highlighted that interaction with researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals at conferences can help students establish valuable connections, collaborations, and partnerships, which can lead to new opportunities and insights.
The conference intends to provide opportunities to learn about the latest advancements, methodologies, and best practices in AI research and applications from leading experts in the field and also raise awareness about the potential of AI to address societal challenges, improve quality of life, and drive economic growth, while also addressing concerns and misconceptions. Over 300 participants from Sri Lanka, South Korea, West Bengal, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chhattisgarh, Bhubaneswar, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Baripada, Dhenkanal, Burla, Jaipur, Dharmashala, Mumbai, Gujarat, Berhampur and Balasore including academicians, scientists, scholars and students working and having an interest in AI have gathered for the inaugural ceremony
