Naveen Patnaik meets Mukesh Ambani, discusses investment opportunities

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is on a visit to Mumbai, met Monday the Chairman and Managing Director Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani. Among others present during the meeting were 5T secretary VK Pandian and Industries department Secretary Hemant Sharma. A number of investment opportunities in Odisha was discussed between the two, sources informed.

“The Chief Minister met industrialist Mukesh Ambani to discuss the strengths of Odisha as an investment destination and the future investment plans of Reliance Industries in the state,” said a statement released by the Odisha government.

The statement also stated that Naveen Patnaik has asked Ambani to explore the immense investment opportunities in Odisha. The Odisha Chief Minister also highlighted the fact that the state is industry-conducive and there are various segments that Reliance can explore. On the occasion of the meeting, Patnaik also gifted Ambani a jersey of the Indian hockey team.
