Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Thursday had a videoconferencing with his Tamil Nadu counterpart Edappadi K Palaniswami and discussed about safe return of Odia people stranded in the state due to the ongoing lockdown.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan too joined the discussion, said sources.
Thanking the Tamil Nadu government for taking care of the Odia people stuck there, Naveen urged Palaniswami to facilitate safe return of the Odia people, who want to return to their homes.
The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has assured Naveen to extend all necessary support in this regard, sources in the CMO said. Naveen has also interacted with the people staying at the camp set up at Guru Nanak College in Chennai.
