Jeypore: A newborn baby girl was found dumped in a garbage heap inside the Jeypore sub-division hospital premises in the district here in Koraput district Monday.
According to reports, somebody has allegedly thrown the newborn baby at the garbage dump and left.
Later, some stray dogs pulled the body out of the garbage and were found eating it. People saw the gory incident at sub-divisional hospital in Jeypore in the district and then informed the hospital authorities.
The Sub-Division Medical officer (SDMO) told the media that the incident was horrible and they would investigate it.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and questioned the hospital authorities.
