New Delhi: After tying knot as per Hindu rituals December 2nd in Jodhpur, newly-wed couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally landed in New Delhi post their grand wedding in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The marriage included functions like the sangeet ceremony, mehendi ceremony, the white wedding and the wedding by Indian customs.
Priyanka and Nick were all smiles as they landed in Delhi. Also spotted with the couple was Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, Nick Jonas’ younger brother Frankie Jonas and his father Paul Kevin Jonas. Priyanka looked elegant in an emerald green Sabyasachi saree while Nick wore a coffee coloured pair of pants and a jacket to go with it.
The couple was highly criticized for using fire crackers during the marriage ceremony. However, nothing seems to bother the much in love couple. On the other hand, media persons and photographers expressed their resentment for not being allowed to take pictures of the marriage.
Priyanka and Nick even released a few pictures from their mehendi and sangeet ceremony on social media, making their fans go berserk.
It is expected that the couple will have a day off before they gear up for their reception which is expected to be attended by a lot of political bigwigs including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
