Bhubaneswar: Senior officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) along with its Director General Yogesh Chander Modi will visit the state October 3.
The team will participate in a one-day workshop at the Police Bhawan here. The officials of Odisha Police will be imparted special training to investigate cases related to terrorist incidents. The visit of the NIA officials holds significance in the wake of a letter received by the Central Intelligence Bureau which mentioned that Bhubaneswar and 30 other cities are on the target of terror groups.
Similarly, it is learnt that the terror groups may use the vast coastline of Odisha to intrude into the country.
