Rourkela: The World University Ranking for 2024 has been released by the Times Higher Education. This year NIT Rourkela moved two bands up from the previous year and has been ranked in the band of 601-800 in the list of world’s top universities.
In the year 2023, NIT-R was ranked in the band of 1000-1200. NIT-R shares the rank with IIT Guwahati, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Banaras Hindu University, Alagappa University and many other reputed institutes/universities of the country.
The list includes 1,904 universities across 108 countries and regions. Congratulating the entire NIT-R academic community, NIT-R Director K Umamaheshwar Rao said, “NIT Rourkela is two bands up from last year’s rankings and this depicts that we are continuously putting in our efforts. This is a collaborative outcome of our students, faculties, staff and alumni.
