Bhubaneswar, Feb 10: Odia Language, Literature and Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi Wednesday said that the districts that haven’t filed their utilisation certificates (UCs) will be barred from getting any financial grant from the department. He was holding a videoconference with the district Collectors.
He also stated that it’s a matter of regret that many districts haven’t filed their financial details till now. The state government has also planned to celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose and centenary of Mahatma Gandhi’s Odisha visit with various cultural programmes. Therefore, every Collector needs to prepare a work schedule as various cultural programs will also be held across the state.
Principal Secretary Bishnupada Sethi, Culture director Ranjan Kumar Das and many other officials were present at the meeting.
