Mumbai: A recent meeting between actor Salman Khan and actor-director Farhan Akhtar had sparked rumours about the two doing a film together. However, Farhan has quashed the speculation and said that the meeting was just ‘casual’ and no work was discussed.
Farhan said that Salman is a family friend and he had a normal conversation with him. “There is no plan to work with him in any film right now,” Farhan has said.
According to recent reports, Farhan is currently working with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in the film ‘Toofan’. It is a sports biographical film based on boxing.
Earlier, Farhan has worked with Mehra in the successful biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ‘.
Farhan’s father Javed Akhtar and Salman’s father Salim Khan have worked together on a number of projects in the past.
