Chhendipada: Communist leader and former MLA candidate Nimein Charan Sethy breathed his last at his Podapada village residence near Chhendipada in Angul district Saturday morning. He was 97.
Sethy was suffering from prolonged age-related problems. People from different walks of life thronged at his residence to pay their last tributes to the departed soul and offer condolences to the grieved family.
Later, his body was taken out in a procession to the village crematorium.
