Odia medicos in US donate ambulance, O2 shelter

 Titlagarh: With the spread of the Covid pandemic across the global, the Government of Odisha has taken various steps to save people’s lives by trying everything possible in this direction, but still many patients find it difficult to avail ambulance services or suffer from lack of medical oxygen. In such a difficult circumstance, the Lions’ Club of Titilagarh was seen working to reach out to Covid patients in order to provide some support to the government and administration. Dr. Hasmukhlal, a well-known doctor from Titilagarh, suggested to a group of doctors from Odisha residing in the United States of America to do something for their state.

All the doctors there, known as the Odisha Society of Americas, Health and Wellness Group (OSA HW) first extended a helping hand to the Smile Please Foundation managed by Odia film actor  Sabyasachi Mishra, then supported the Titilagarh Lions’ Club in its endeavour to provide cooked food to the needy people of Titilagarh, promote vaccination in rural areas, distribute dry ration and and now they have provided an ambulance and a post-Covid oxygen shelter, which were inaugurated at Lion’s Den, Titilagarh.

The chief guests on this occasion were Titilagarh SDMO Dr Pradeep Kumar Naik, members of the Club Lion Dr Biju Agrawal, Lion Dr Narendra Agrawal and Lion Dr Jay Prakash Jain. All the members of OSA HW, OSA brand ambassador Sabyasachi Mishra and Lion Sanjaya Sahu also joined the noble work on ZOOM App virtually.
