Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police Tuesday arrested a youth on allegation of raping a girl child in Bhubaneswar.
The accused has been identified as Santosh Khuntia.
The source said that the 2.5-year-old toddler was taken to Capital Hospital for medical examination last night and her condition is said to be stable.
The source added that Khuntia was absconding after committing the crime until he was nabbed by the cops today.
Khuntia will undergo a medical examination at Capital Hospital and will be produced before a court here, police said.
