Cuttack: Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Entrance Test-2023 for admission into various classes will be held March 5, Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha Vice-President Nihar Ranjan Mohanty informed Saturday.
According to a schedule released by BSE, nearly 929 examination centres would host Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Entrance Test (OAVET) and Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalaya Entrance Test (OMAVET) in 2023.
The appearing students for this test can download their admit cards from the official BSE Odisha website at www.bseodisha.ac.in
A whopping 1,36,491 candidates have applied for OAVET-2023 to get admission into Class-VI Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas (OAVs) across the state.
As many as 17,154 candidates, 12,456 candidates and 5,716 candidates have registered for OAVET 2023 to enter in Class VII, Class VIII and Class IX respectively.
Besides, 1,346 applicants have applied for OMAVET this year for admission into Class VI at Odisha Mines Adarsha Vidyalaya network of schools in Odisha.
It can be mentioned here that Odisha government established Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas, which offer free, high-quality English education to kids from across the state – particularly those from semi-urban and rural areas.
In addition to academic excellence, the Adarsha Vidyalaya promotes rural talent by instilling 21st-century learning skills through a holistic and integrative approach to their physical and aesthetic development.
