Cuttack: Paintings of artists from Odisha are going to be displayed at Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Indian Contemporary Artists Association (ICAA) will exhibit the works of Odisha artists through ‘Olympia’ – a virtual art exhibition being held at Memorial Hall in Tokyo in a video format.
The exhibition was inaugurated on ICAA premises in Cuttack by former India Hockey captain Dillip Tirkey Friday. As many as 70 nationally and internationally reputed artists are participating in it.
After getting a green signal from Internal Olympic Management Committee, the artists’ works have already been sent to Tokyo Olympics.
Among the Odisha artists taking part in the exhibition are Minaketan Pattanayak, Shreeharsh Shukla, Rajib Lochan Sahu, Mamata Samantray, Diptimayee Padhi, Md. Anwar, Ranjan Mallick and Manoh Mohanty.
