Bhawanipatna: The body of an Assistant Executive Engineer was found Friday morning under mysterious circumstances from government quarters in Mukhiguda town of Odisha’s Kalahandi district. He was employed in the Water Resources Department.
The deceased has been identified as Ranjit Kumar Karji who was posted at the office of Superintending Engineer of the Indravati Project in Mukhiguda area.
He was a native of Subhadrapur near Gunupur area in Rayagada district.
Jayapatna police recovered the body and sent it for postmortem.
An investigation into the matter is underway. As of now, the cause of death remains unclear.
