Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik sanctions Rs 20 crore for Aahar scheme

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Thursday sanctioned Rs 20 crore from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the state-level Aahar Committee.

Official sources here said Rs 228.76 crore has been sanctioned from 2015-16 to 2021-22 from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for implementation of Aahar programme in the state.

Aahar centres are operating in various hospitals, bus stands and other crowded places in urban areas for the poor people to provide good healthy and balanced food at only Rs 5.
