Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Commitee (OPCC) released its party manifesto for the state today from their party office here, Sunday. OPCC President Niranjan Patnaik released the manifesto in the presence of party other leaders. In the manifesto the party has promised 19 points to cater to the needs of different sections of the society in Odisha.
The party has assured assistance of Rs 6,000 per month under the NYAY scheme to the poor and waive off the crop loans for farmers. The manifesto also states that the healthcare sector will get a boost by setting up more medical colleges if the party is voted to power. Among other salient features of the manifesto are regularising the contractual workers. There shall be no contractual employment in the fields of teaching, healthcare and social security services, the manifesto states.
