Bhubaneswar: Odisha Higher Education department Monday issued the timeline for e-admission into UG courses for Academic Session 2023-24.
Notably, the e-admission process will be done via the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.
Timeline of the e-admission process:
- Availability of Common Application Form (CAF): June 19 (2.00 pm)
- Last date for the application process of CAF: July 4 (11.45 pm)
- Validation and Correction of CAF at SAMS Resource Centres: June 21 (11 am) to July 7 (7 pm) (Except Holidays)
- Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for first-round selection): July 14 (2.00 pm)
- Selection of Slide/Freeze/Float Option and Online Payment of Admission Fees by selected Students: July 14 (7 pm) to July 18 (11.45 pm)
- Reporting of the Applicants at allotted institutions for taking Admission (first-round selection): 15 July 2023 (9.00 am) and 17 July 2023 (9.00 am) to 19 July 2023 (till 5.00 pm).
- Data updation of admitted students in the e-space by the respective Institutions (for First Round Admission): 15 July 2023 (9.00 am) and 17 July 2023 (9.00 am) to 19 July 2023 (till 7.00 pm).
- Publication of Provisional Allotment of Seats (for Second Round Selection): 27 July 2023 (2.00 pm).
