Odisha govt enforces leave restriction for officials till June 30

Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha Tuesday announced restriction on leaves to all government officials, effective immediately until June 30, 2024.

This directive, issued by Additional Chief Secretary Surendra Kumar aims to ensure that all officials remain available at their respective headquarters during the swearing-in ceremony of the new Council of Ministers scheduled for June 12, 2024, and subsequent activities.

The restriction includes a prohibition on leave during public holidays, with exceptions only on health grounds, the notification issued by Kumar added.
