Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Minister Naba Kisore Das has tested positive for Covid-19. The minister informed in his official Twitter account Friday morning.
Das stated that he does not have any symptom of the viral disease and has isolated himself at his residence adhering to safety protocols.
Taking to the Twitter handle, Das wrote “I was tested asymptomatic Covid-19 positive Thursday and now in home isolation. I request all those who have come in physical contact with me in last three days to get themselves tested.”

It is pertinent to mention, 2,703 Covid-19 infections including 926 from Khurda were detected in the last 24 hours. The total caseload includes 409 in the age group of newborn to 18 years, taking tally in the state to 10,62,476. Active caseload in the state now stands at 8,237.
