Odisha: Jio launches 5G services in Byasanagar, Rayagada

Rayagada: Reliance Jio Tuesday launched its 5G services in Byasanagar and Rayagada towns in Odisha.

Including these two towns, Reliance Jio expanded its 5G services to 41 towns across 16 states/ union territories in this phase.

The locations include Adoni, Badvel, Chilakaluripet, Gudivada, Kadiri, Narsapur, Rayachoti, Srikalahasti, Tadepalligudem (Andhra Pradesh), Margao (Goa), Fatehabad, Gohana, Hansi, Narnaul, Palwal (Haryana), Paonta Sahib (Himachal Pradesh), Rajouri (Jammu & Kashmir) Dumka (Jharkhand), Robertsonpet (Karnataka).

Other cities where Jio 5G is operational include Kanhangad, Nedumangad, Taliparamba, Thalassery, Thiruvalla (Kerala), Betul, Dewas, Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh) Bhandara, Wardha (Maharashtra), Lunglei (Mizoram), Hoshiarpur (Punjab), Tonk (Rajasthan), Karaikudi, Krishnagiri, Ranipet, Theni Allinagaram, Udhagamandalam, Vaniyambadi (Tamil Nadu) and Kumarghat (Tripura).

It can be mentioned here that Talcher got 5G services February 7, 2023.

Previously, Jio rolled out its 5G services in 12 cities of Odisha viz. Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Berhampur, Sambalpur, Balasore, Baripada, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Puri, Balangir, and Nalconagar-Angul this year.
