Balasore: A MEMU train — heading towards Balasore from Bhadrak — entered the loop line instead of the mainline at Barun Singh Chhak near Nilgiri Road station in Odisha’s Balasore district, a source said Tuesday.
Fortunately, the loco pilot timely stopped the train by applying brakes after it entered the loop line, the source informed.
According to the source, following the incident, the loco pilot reversed the train nearly 200 meters and continued its journey towards Balasore station.
