Bhubaneswar: Results of Plus II Arts and Vocational stream examinations conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha were announced Saturday.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash announced the results at CHSE office.
The pass percentage in Arts stream is 98.58. A total of 1,89,363 candidates had appeared for the examinations in the Arts stream. Out of them, 1,86,685 cleared the test. While 30,510 students have passed in the first division, 46,101 and 10,074 students passed in second and third divisions respectively.
Girl students have performed better than boys. The pass percentage of girls stands at 92.34 per cent while the pass percentage of boys is 85.98 per cent.
Similarly, 27,595 ex-regular candidates had enrolled for the examinations in the Arts stream. With a pass percentage of 26.00%; 7,161 have cleared the exams. While, as many as 2,126 students have passed in first division, 193 and 6,726 students passed in second and third divisions respectively. The number of compartmental students is 206.
Similarly, in the Vocational stream, the pass percentage is 86.02% with a total 5,331 students clearing the examinations. While, as many as 1,076 students have secured first division, 1,836 and 2,219 students passed in second and third divisions respectively.
