Odisha pushes for integration of DRE livelihood technologies for sustainable development

A state-level stakeholder consultation workshop in Bhubaneswar focused on integrating decentralised renewable energy (DRE) technologies into Odisha’s sustainable development initiatives.

Organised by CEEW, UNDP India, Harsha Trust, GEAPP India, and CLEAN, the workshop explored opportunities to align DRE solutions with state programs like Mission Shakti, Odisha Millet Mission, and others.

More than 70 participants from over 20 organisations, including WASSAN, SELCO Foundation, PRADAN, FES, Vasundhara, CInI, GIZ, RCDC, Cool Crop, S4S, RuKart, Jaljeevika, PCI, EY, XIMB, Tata Power, Falcon Group, PSIL, World Fish, Saptkrishi, Trickle Up, Udyama, KOEL Fresh Pvt Ltd, SEE Green Technologies, and Kisan Dharambir, shared their insights and experiences on integrating different DRE solutions and models into livelihood initiatives.

Key discussions centered on enhancing productivity, income, and sustainability through DRE technologies.
