Odisha reports 1,384 new COVID-19 cases, total reaches 36,297

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Monday reported 1,384 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally across the state to 36,297.

The death toll in the state reached 207 with ten additional deaths, informed official sources.

Out of the 1,384 new cases, 873 were reported from quarantine centres while 511 are local contacts.

District wise breakdown: Angul reported 13 new cases, Balasore 79, Bargarh 33, Bhadrak 25, Balangir 51, Cuttack 89, Dhenkanal 11, Gajapati 61, Ganjam 331, Jagatsinghpur 22, Jajpur 18, Jharsuguda seven, Kalahandi four, Kendrapara 11, Khurda 211, Koraput 97, Malkangiri 39, Mayurbhanj 29, Nabarangpur 26, Nayagarh 22, Nuapada five, Puri 17, Rayagada 38, Sambalpur 93, Sonepur six and Sundargarh 46.

The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 14,095.
