Bhubaneswar: Odisha Wednesday reported 3,219 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 1,09,780.
11 fresh fatalities pushed the death toll in the state to 514, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
Out of the 3,219 new cases, 1,931 were reported from quarantine centres while 1,288 are local contacts.
District wise breakdown: Angul reported 66 new cases, Balasore 194, Bargarh 185, Bhadrak 87, Balangir 10, Boudh 36, Cuttack 400, Dhenkanal 37, Gajapati 27, Ganjam 169, Jagatsinghpur 60, Jajpur 117, Jharsuguda 60, Kalahandi 37, Kandhamal 32, Kendrapara 57, Keonjhar 102, Khurda 731, Koraput 90, Malkangiri 13, Mayurbhanj 137, Nabarangpur 55, Nayagarh 62, Nuapada 49, Puri 217, Rayagada 25, Sambalpur 78, Sonepur 26 and Sundargarh 60.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 28,443.
