Odisha SSB lecturer recruitment: To fulfil as many as 1,065 posts of lecturers (direct payment posts) in different subjects in non-government-aided colleges of Odisha, the State Selection Board (SSB) has issued a detailed notification.

Scale of pay of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 (as per Pay Matrix -Level 10) as per ORSP Rules, 2017. Additionally, the usual DA will be admissible from time to time for the teachers of non-government-aided colleges of Odisha, the notification informed.

How to apply for Odisha SSB lecturer
Candidates are required to apply online through website: www.ssbodisha.ac.in at the link available on this site. No other means/ mode of submission of applications will be accepted.
Candidates are required to go through the how to apply section in the detailed notification before filling up the application form.
Application fee
A non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs 500 for the candidates coming under the Unreserved Category / SEBC Category and Rs 200 for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe / Scheduled Caste and PwD categories has to be deposited by the aspirants.

Procedure of selection
The selection process will rely on a combination of a written examination, a career evaluation, and a viva-voce interview. The mark distribution for the career assessment is structured as follows: (a) Career Assessment carries 25 marks, the written test carries 150 marks and 25 marks for the viva-voce interview making a sum of 200 marks.

Zones of examination
The written test will take place in multiple zones, including Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Bolangir, Cuttack, Jeypore, and Sambalpur. The allocation of these zones will depend on the number of candidates in each area. If there aren’t enough candidates for a particular zone, those who are selected for that zone will be assigned to the nearest available zone. It is to be noted that requests for changing chosen zone will not be considered or accepted, the notification informed.
