Odisha weather alert June 28: Highest temperature drops below 35 degree Celsius in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather alert June 28 issued several warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall in many districts of Odisha.

Upto 8:30 AM of June 29: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh and Jharsuguda districts.

In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Subarnapur, Jharsuguda and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.

From 8:30 AM of June 29 to 8:30 AM of June 30: The weather agency forecasted that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda and at a few places over the remaining districts of Odisha.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 34 degree Celsius and 28 degree Celsius respectively.

In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 33.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Chandbali while the lowest minimum temperature of 22.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Nabarangpur, the weather alert of June 28 informed.
