Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar Tuesday predicted that the maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely to rise gradually by 3-4 degrees Celsius at many places in several districts of Odisha over the next four days.
The weather agency also informed that dry weather is very likely to prevail over several districts of the state for the next four days.
Upto 8.30 AM of April 12: IMD predicted that light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam districts. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha.
In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, mainly a clear sky becoming partly cloudy towards afternoon/evening is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 41 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius was recorded at Jharsuguda and the lowest minimum temperature of 19.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Phulbani.
