Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar Tuesday forecasted light to moderate rain or thunderstorm in several districts of Odisha.
Upto 8.30 AM of April 5: The weather agency predicted that light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Angul, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Cuttack, Boudh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, and Sonepur districts. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of the state.
From 8.30 AM of April 5 to 8.30 AM of April 6: The agency forecasted that light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over coastal Odisha, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and Nabarangpur districts. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha.
Maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely to rise by 2 to 3 degree Celcius over the next two days and no large change thereafter at many places across the state, IMD forecasted.
In the same timeframe, Bhubaneswar is predicted to experience a partly cloudy sky towards the afternoon or evening. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 38 degree Celcius and 26 degree Celcius respectively.
The highest maximum temperature of 38.0 degree Celcius was recorded in Boudh district and the lowest minimum temperature of 17.0 degree Celcius was recorded in Jagatsinghpur district of the state Monday.
