Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather bulletin of July 9 issued a Yellow Warning for heavy rainfall over several districts of Odisha.
Upto 8.30 AM of July 10: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar districts.
In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of north coastal Odisha, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.
From 8.30 AM of July 10 to 8.30 AM of July 11: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bargarh and Deogarh districts.
In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of north coastal Odisha, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Khurda, Nayagarh and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.
In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 36 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 35.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Titilagarh while the lowest minimum temperature of 22.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Nuapada, the weather bulletin of July 9 informed.
