Bhubaneswar: Several districts in Odisha are likely to receive light rainfall, regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar predicted Monday.
According to the forecast, sky will remain cloudy from March 7 till March 11 under the influence of western disturbances. Some places are expected to witness light rainfall.
Overall temperature is expected to decrease across Odisha in the next five days, the weather agency informed.
According to the mid-day bulletin issued by the centre, light to moderate rain or thundershower are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha till March 8, 8:30AM.
Besides, light to moderate rain or thundershower are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Bargarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather very likely to prevail over the remaining districts till March 9, 8:30AM.
Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, dry weather prevailed over Odisha. Talcher was the hottest place in the state recorded at 38.8 degrees. Bhubaneswar logged a temperature of 38.4 degrees Celsius.
