Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar Wednesday informed that dense fog, and moderate rain/ thundershower are expected in different parts of Odisha till 8:30am of January 26.
The weather agency forecast no change in maximum temperature (day temperature) over the next 24 hours. Day temperature is likely to gradually fall by 2 to 3 degree Celsius at many places over next three days.
Upto 8:30am of Jan 25: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Subarnapur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda and Bargarh districts.
In the same time frame, light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of north Odisha and at a few places over the districts of south Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha and one or two places over the districts of north coastal Odisha.
From 8:30am of Jan 25 to 8:30am of Jan 26: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over Kalahandi, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Subarnapur, Boudh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Jajpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Sundargarh and Jharsuguda districts.
In the same timeframe, light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of the state.
Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha.
In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain is expected. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 23 degree Celsius and 16 degree Celsius respectively.
