Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather alert issued a Yellow Warning for several districts of Odisha.

Upto 8.30 AM of August 5 to 8.30 AM of August 6: The agency forecasts that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north interior Odisha and at one or two places over the rest districts of the state.

From 8.30 AM of August 6 to 8.30 AM of August 7: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts.

In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 34 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively.

In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 34.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Paralakhemundi while the lowest minimum temperature of 21.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Angul, the bulletin informed.
