Bhubaneswar: IMD Bhubaneswar in its weather report issued Yellow Warning for August 26. The weather agency informed that heavy rainfall is very likely over various districts of the state including Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
Upto 8.30 AM of August 26: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Angul, Koraput, Rayagada and Gajapati districts.
The weather agency also informed that thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput districts.
In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of the state.

From 8.30 AM of August 26 to 8.30 AM of August 27: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri and Koraput districts.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and Nabarangpur districts.
In the same time frame, Light to moderate rain or thundershower are very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha.
In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 31 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 34.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Boudh while the lowest minimum temperature of 22.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Phulbani, the bulletin informed.
