Odisha weather update August 4: Incessant rains likely to decrease

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar predicted that the incessant rains across Odisha are likely to take a pause over the next three days.

Upto 8.30 AM of August 4: According to the weather agency, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha.

Besides, IMD did not issue any warning for heavy rainfall in the state.

From 8.30 AM of August 4 to 8.30 AM of August 5: The agency forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower at a few places over the districts of Odisha.

Notably, the weatherman did not issue any warning for heavy rainfall in the state.

From 8.30 AM of August 5 to 8.30 AM of August 6: Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha, the bulletin issued by the weather agency read.

Apart from this, IMD did not issue any warning for heavy rainfall in the state.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with light rain is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 32 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively.

In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 30.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Chatrapur while the lowest minimum temperature of 20.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Nuapada, the bulletin informed.
