Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Anupama Swain won the bronze medal Monday at the World Martial Art Masters Ju Jitsu Championships currently on at Chungju in Korea. Anupama Swain competed in the -63kg segment and did quite well. It should be stated here that this not the first time that the 27-year-old has won an international medal. A versatile sportsperson, Anupama Swain had won gold medal at the Asian Powerlifting Championships in 2017. A student of Utkal Karate School in the city, Anupama had worked tirelessly for the Ju Jitsu championships under the watchful eyes of teacher Hari Pattanayak before going to the Korean city to compete.
