Window decals are not the same thing as wall decals. Installation
- Installation instructions are found on the product page, but general rules need to be followed before installing window stickers and decals.
- Before installing, remove all the dirt from the window and let it dry.
- Then use water with one or two drops of a mild detergent to spray on the rear side of the sticker of decal after removing the backing.
- Water should not be used on perforated decals. After it is wet, place the decal on the dry window surface and use a squeegee to take out any excess water.
- Once the water dries, the adhesive will attach the decal or sticker on the window. Large decals or screens will need more than one person to install properly on the window glass.
Removing decal or sticker
- Decals or stickers can simply be peeled off from the window.
- Window cleaners will be needed to remove residual adhesive material.
- For stickers that are extremely difficult to take off, a felt edge squeegee can help in the peeling away of the sticker.
