Nayagarh: Forest officials Tuesday arrested one person and seized a Tata Ace for smuggling 38 blocks of timber at Kesharpur village near Nagmundali road here.
The arrested person has been identified as Mukund Pradhan.
Acting on a tip-off, officials intercepted the vehicle which was going to Etamati from Sangorda village near Sarankul.
Though the driver tried to escape, the officials nabbed him and forwarded to the court.
