One dies, two injured in a road mishap in Puri; dense fog gets the blame

Puri: A person was killed and two others were injured in a road mishap involving a pick-up van and a cement laden truck at Malatipatapur village on Puri-Bhubaneswar National Highway in this district.

The deceased was identified as Hemant Behera of Penthakata sahi in Puri town. The identities of the two injured, including the driver, are yet to be established.

Sources said, Hemanta along with his two relatives was on his way back to his village from Bhubaneswar in a pick-up van. There was dense fog on the stretch of the road, bringing down the visibility to below normal.
