Kuanrmunda: Police arrested Thursday a man on charges of sexually abusing a three-and-a-half-year-old girl at a village near Raiboga in Sundargarh district.
According to reports, Sanjay Dungdung (21) of Badamal slum area allegedly committed the crime when the girl was alone.
Acting swiftly on the complaint of the victim’s family members, the police registered a case under POCSO Act and arrested Dungdung. The victim was also sent for medical examination, said inspector in charge Bijay Kumar Singh.
Dungdung had earlier been sent to jail in a rape case but was out on bail.
