Bantala: Lightning claimed a life in near Badadanda Sahi Purunagarh under Bantala police limits Angul district Thursday late night.
The deceased was identified as Dandadhar Mohanty (55) alias Sura.
According to reports, Sura was out in jungle to collect leaves Thursday and did not returned home. Later, locals found the burnt body covered with leaves wee hour Friday and informed the police.
Police registered a case of unnatural death and sent the body for post mortem.
