OPCC vice-president Rajat Choudhury quits party

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) vice-president Rajat Choudhury has resigned from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect.

Choudhury sent his resignation letter to OPCC president Sarat Pattanayak.

“With a heavy heart, I am submitting my resignation with immediate effect. I am working for the party for last 24 years in different positions,” Choudhury wrote in his resignation letter.

It can be mentioned here that Choudhury had previously held significant positions within the party, serving as the president of the Youth President from 2014 to 2016 and later as the general secretary of the Odisha Congress unit.
