Cuttack: Candidates can apply online for as many as 36 posts of Junior Stenographer (Group-C) in Orissa High Court establishments till 11:59pm of November 16.
Out of the total 36 vacant posts, reservation for various categories is as follows;
Unreserved category (UR): 11 (Women-04)
Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC): 05 (Women- 02)
Scheduled Caste (SC): 08 (Women-03)
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 12 (Women-04)

Eligibility criteria:
Age: The candidates must be between 21 and 31 years old as of November 2, 2023. For details regarding age relaxation candidates are advised to read the detailed notification by clicking here.
Educational qualification: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university. He/ She should have a minimum 80 words per minute speed in shorthand and 40 words per minute speed in typing. Candidates are also expected to have adequate knowledge of computer applications.
Examination fee:
During the application process, candidates need to pay a fee of Rs 500. This is non-refundable and non-adjustable. Candidates need to pay this only via online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Net Banking system. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and Persons with Disabilities are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Salary
The candidates who will be selected through this recruitment drive will get a salary in the pay scale of Rs 25,500 – 81,100 in level 7 of the pay matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017. Following official recruitment, dearness and other allowances may be sanctioned by the Odisha government from time to time.
