Bhubaneswar: The computer skill test for the posts of Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) and Junior Assistant will be conducted October 6 by Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC).
However, the Commission in a recent notification said, “The shortlisted candidates for Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2023, who are having another examination October 6, 2023, may apply by September 25, 2023 through email mentioning their CRE-2023 roll numbers therein to the Commission with evidence (such as admit card, date, venue, timing) of such other examinations for consideration of allocation of suitable test venue.”
The commission has also informed that the admission letters or admit cards for the practical skill test in Basic Computer Skills of CRE-2023 will be available seven days prior to the date of the test.

According to a source, the decision was taken based on the concerns of some students as the computer skill test and accountant examination by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) are scheduled on the same date.
Notably, the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) conducted the Combined Recruitment Examination 2023 to fill the vacant posts of Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) and Junior Assistant.
