Puri: Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) marked the beginning of the New Year by inaugurating an exclusive pure vegetarian restaurant at Purusottam Bhakta Nivas in the Holy City. This culinary initiative without the use of onion and garlic is aimed at providing a delightful dining experience to pilgrims. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of OTDC chairman Lenin Mohanty, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) chief administrator Ranjan Kumar Das.
The occasion was also graced by senior district-level officials, members of the Srimandir Managing Committee, general manager of OTDC Lalatendu Sahoo, divisional manager (HS) Abhijit Sourav Swain and various other OTDC officials. The vegetarian restaurant located at Purusottam Bhakta Nivas is not only a culinary delight for pilgrims but also a testament to OTDC’s commitment to enhancing the overall experience of visitors in Puri. The menu, meticulously prepared without using onion and garlic, respects the dietary preferences of pilgrims and provides a diverse range of vegetarian options. Sahoo said, “The introduction of the travel desk is a significant step towards making Odisha’s diverse attractions more accessible to tourists.
