Bhubaneswar: Odisha State owned Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has decided to organise a sand animation show on the life of Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary October 2 here.
OTDC Chairperson Sreemayi Kar said a number of eminent sand sculptors have been invited to show case Gandhiji’s love and contribution to the country through the sand animation show.
She said in addition to the sand animation show cultural programmes have also been organised to celebrate the occasion.
The function would be organized at Lower PMG area in the heart of the capital city.
The show will start at 6:00pm and continue till 10:00pm. People can watch the extravaganza free of cost, she said.
