Bhubaneswar: Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KFin Technologies Limited (KFintech) in order to strengthen industry-academia collaboration here recently.
The partnership will facilitate internships, pre-placement offers, lab visits, and industry-relevant training, equipping students with practical skills to meet industry demands. The event was attended by key representatives from OUTR, including vice chancellor Bibhuti Bhusan Biswal, registrar Ashish Kumar Jena, academics dean Achyutananda Acharya, training and placement officer Bibhu Prasad Dash, and deputy training and placement offi cer Samarjit Patnaik.
Representing KFintech were chief technology officer Venkata Giri Vonkayala, chief people offi cer Sujay Puthran, vice president Subarna Mishra, and programme manager Sumanta Hota.
Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to nurturing talent and bridging the gap between academia and industry. The collaboration aligns with OUTR’s mission to enhance employability and industry engagement, reinforcing its position as a leader in technical education.
