‘Paripurnaa’ exhibition at Odisha Modern Art Gallery

Bhubaneswar: A solo art exhibition by Sucharita Nath titled ‘Paripurna’ was organised at Odisha Modern Art Gallery in Bhubaneswar, Sunday. In the exhibition, Suchitra showcased the themes such as divine love of Radha-Krishna, devotion through the art of Buddha and Ganesha.

For Suchatita painting flows naturally. From her childhood she plays with colours. An avid painter, she explores and expresses her feelings through colour. She finds solace by painting Ganesha, Buddha and nature.

‘Paripurnaa’ means completeness. By doing nature and mythological painting, she feels completeness. Few of her paintings have been exhibited and appreciated even outside Odisha. This is her first solo painting exhibition in Odisha.

This apart, Suchitra presented the tribal culture of the state and the daily life of the commoners through her art at this exhibition. More than 25 of her finest works have been exhibited here.  Her work has been exhibited at several Galleries including International Gallery in London.

The exhibition will continue till January 16, 2019.
