Dhenkanal: A man allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the district hospital in Dhenkanal district Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Khageswar Bhola of Haridapasi village near Sadar.
According to reports, Bhola complained of stomach pain and gastritis last evening following which he had been admitted to the DHH.
Late night, Bhola started shivering and moaning in pain. The doctors administered an injection following which Bhola started shivering even more.
At around 2.35 am Bhola jumped off from the fourth floor of the building and died on the spot.
Though the exact reason for the act is not yet known, sources said that Bhola was mentally unstable.
Meanwhile, some reports suggested that Bhola might have accidentally fallen off the building.
The police have seized the body and started an investigation.
